Charles Stanley Institute

"The oak tree symbolizes strength, endurance, power, and ancient wisdom. Its strong roots penetrate deeply into the earth, anchoring it firmly in place. Like the backbone of the earth, its trunk rises tall, branching out into a canopy of leaves that provide shelter and protection to all those beneath it."

This is the heart and legacy of the late Dr. Charles Stanley.

Last summer I had the honor of playing a small role in collaborating with the team from In Touch Ministries to create a brand identity system for the Charles Stanley Institute - an initiative aimed at utilizing Dr. Stanley's decades of pastoral teachings for empowering discipleship and Biblical literacy.

Designing a visual identity to commemorate a leader as beloved and trusted as Dr. Stanley was extraordinary in itself, but the primary joy of working on this project was getting to work alongside the team at ITM -- some of the kindest, most genuine and passionate people I've ever met. Each team member brought a special gift to the table, and any time I was blessed to interact with them, my day was instantly brightened.

I was delighted and grateful to be involved in this project alongside my former rock-star team at Hampton Creative, and I'm thrilled to see the profound impact the Institute will make and the disciples that are multiplied as it launches out into the world.
